SEPARATE ACTION PLAN FOR SUPPLY OF BUTTER MILK IN SUMMER-EO

Tirumala, 3 April 2017: As the summer vacation pilgrim rush has set to commence, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao instructed the Annaprasadam wing officials to come with a separate action plan for preparation and supply of butter milk for the next three months.

During the weekly review meeting in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Monday, the EO instructed the Annaprasadam Special Officer Smt Chenchulakshmi to prepare a schedule for serving food, butter milk for the pilgrims waiting in VQC compartments.

He later directed the Engineering wing to erect four temporary sheds with 500 seating capacity each for Divya darshan and Sarva Darshan pilgrims with drinking and toilet facility near Narayanagiri Gardens as was done during Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

The EO instructed KKC DyEO Sri Venkataiah to keep available maximum number of tonsures at Main and Mini kalyanakattas in Tirumala during the ensuing summer season. “Additional staff as per requirements by heads of departments should be deployed to provide better services to pilgrims”, he directed Serivices DyEO Sri Vijayasaradhi.

The EO instructed Additional FACAO Sri Balaji for Digital Auditing of Donor management system for proper record and to trace out deficiencies if any.
“Two new scanners should be placed at Alipiri check point immediately, as the summer vacation rush has already commenced”, EO directed Vigilance officials.

Later the EO instructed the Health Officer Dr Sermista to conduct surprise checks of stocks in godown, for laddu preparation, bulk milk chiller cleaning process to avoid damage and wastage.

The EO also directed the concerned to check for functioning of all fans, existing water coolers, electrical installations, RO water plants, white painting, sprinkler water system in mada streets etc.in view of summer season for the sake of pilgrim public.

CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, GM Sesha Reddy, VGOs Sri Ravindra Reddy, Smt Vimala Kumari, Smt Sada Lakshmi and other officers were also present.

Briefing the media about the summer arrangements, the EO said all the works will be completed by April 10 and the departments have geared up to provide the best possibles services to multitude of visiting pilgrims during the summer vacation. “We have taken some decisions for the summer including cancelling VIP break darshan except for protocol VIPs on week ends till June, cancelling advance reservation in accommodation for non self donors etc. Our aim is to provide darshan to pilgrims on the same day itself without much waiting”, he added.

Later the EO inspected the mechanism evolved recently to verify donor pass books, scanning of various darshan tokens near Supatham and VQC 1 respectively. He has instructed the officials to do the verification without give scope to any lapses.
