SERVE PILGRIMS WITH DEVOTIONAL SPIRIT DURING BRAHMOTSAVAMS – JEO SRI KS SREENIVASA RAJU

TTD joint executive officer Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju today appealed that every hindu should resolve to serve Lord Venkateswara a for 7 days in year as Srivari Sevaks to enhance the devotional elixir in Tirumala .

He wanted the Srivari Sevaks to gear up with devotion to serve the pilgrims to Tirumala for the Navaratri Brahmotsavams and thereby get the blessings of Lord Venakteswara.

Participating in the awagahavana program for Srivari Sevaks at Asthana Mandapam Sri Raju exhorted them to provide all support and assistance to lakhs of devotees at the four mada streets during the vahana sevas. He lauded that the Srivari Sevak corps which began 15 years ago with just 100 members has so far provided 6.5 lakh man days of service to pilgrims in all respects of darshan, accommodation, annadanam, garden and also temple duties. He also appealed that they should observe the code of conduct for Srivari Sevaks during their service period of 7 days even when they came to Tirumala with families.

Speaking on the ocassion the CVSO of TTD Sri Nagender Kumar also appealed to Srivari Sevaks to serve with humility and patience when they deal with the pilgrims. Not only should they resolve the doubts of pilgrims but also ensure quick but through checking of all suspected baggage’s etc without fail.

Devasthanam Eduction Officer Sri Vijaya Kumar said all the srivari sevaks,police,vigilance, scouts and guides should work with spirit and experience of last brahmotsavams and serve the pilgrims.

Besides the other Srivari sevaks, 2000 Srivari sevaks from West Bengal and Maharashtra and other regions and500 scouts and guides also participated in the Awareness program.
