TIRUMALA, 09 JUNE 2021: The sacred symbols of Shankha, Chakra, Namam in the Srivari Mettu route are set up by devotees trekking that path as a part of the fulfilment of their wish
Due to lockdown, as the pilgrims movement footpath routes was temporarily stalled, the wild beasts freely roamed in these routes and destroyed the images.
TTD has removed and kept aside these damaged sacred symbols. After getting the opinion of Agama Advisors, TTD will find out a suitable place to set up these sacred images.

తిరుమల 9 జూన్ 2021: శ్రీవారి మెట్టు నుంచి తిరుమలకు వెళ్ళే నడకదారిలో గతంలో ఎప్పుడో అజ్ఞాత భక్తులు మొక్కు తీర్చుకోవడానికి శంఖు, చక్ర, నామాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. కోవిడ్ నేపథ్యంలో నడక మార్గాలు మూసివేసిన సమయంలో అడవి జంతువుల వల్ల వీటికి నష్టం జరుగుతూ వచ్చింది.దీంతో టీటీడీ వీటిని తొలగించి పక్కన పెట్టింది. ఆగమ పండితుల సలహా తీసుకుని శంఖు, చక్ర, నామాలు ఎక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేయొచ్చో పరిశీలించి తదనుగునంగా చర్యలు తీసుకోవడం జరుగుతుంది.
