SHOBHA YATRA OF LAKSHMI KASULA MALA
Tiruchanoor, 30 November 2016: The shobha yatra of Sahasra Lakshmi Kasula Mala was performed on Wednesday amidst religious fervour by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
The procession of the sacred mala commenced in Tirumala at 9am and reached pasupu mandapam at Tiruchanoor. Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju handed over the divine mala to his Tirupati counterpart Sri P Bhaskar. Special Pujas were performed here and later the mala was taken to the Tiruchanoor temple.
This mala will be decorated to Goddess Padmavathi Devi for Gaja Vahana Seva in the evening.
Temple Spl.Gr DyEO Sri Munirathnam Reddy, OSD Sri Seshadri, Bokkasam incharge Sri Gururaja and others were also present.
