SNAPANA TIRUMANJANAM PERRFORMED

Tiruchanoor, 26 November 2016: The special Abhishekam with aromatic and sacred ingredients Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed with religious fervour to processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi Devi on saturday in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam.

The deity was seated on a separate as an for this fete in the finely decked “Phala Mandapam” where different colourful fruits including oranges, pineapple, grapes both green and black added the zing to the beauty of the ceremony.

KURKUMA LONGA STEALS THE SHOW

After rendering bath with each one of the sacred liquid including milk, honey, turmeric, coconut and sandal paste, the deity is decorated with a unique garlands during every Abhishekam interval.

On Friday the garlands with kuskus, Wild kuskus, roses, kurkuma longa were decorated to Goddess each. Among these garlands the garlands made of Kurkuma longa otherwise known as turmeric sticks stole the show.
