TIRUMALA, 28 MAY 2023: Commemorating the consecration of Bhoga Srinivasa Murty to Tirumala temple by Pallava Queen Samavai, special sahasra kalasabhishekam was observed on Sunday in Tirumala temple.

 

According to the available inscriptional evidence, the queen has offered the one and a half feet tall silver replica of Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murty to Tirumala temple in the eighth century.

 

Memorising the historical occasion, TTD has been observing this fete from the past sixteen years.

 

In the morning the utsava deities of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi, Bhudevi and Sri Vishwaksena were seated on separate platforms in Bangaru Vakili.

 

A holy thread was tied to Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murty connecting thw Mula Virat to showcase that the special abhishekam with 1000 vessels of sacred water was rendered to the main deity.

 

HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and others were present.

మే 28, తిరుమల, 2023: శ్రీవారి పంచ బేరాలలో ఒకటైన శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తిని తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో పల్లవరాణి సామవై ప్రతిష్ఠించిన రోజును పురస్కరించుకుని ఆలయంలో ప్రత్యేక సహస్రకలశాభిషేకం  ఆదివారం వేడుకగా జరిగింది.
 
ఇందులో భాగంగా  ఉదయం శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోని గ‌రుడాళ్వార్ స‌న్నిధిలో శ్రీ‌దేవి, భూదేవి స‌మేత శ్రీ మ‌ల‌య‌ప్ప‌స్వామివారు, శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తి, శ్రీ విష్వక్సేనులవారిని వేంచేపు చేశారు.  
       
శ్రీ‌వారి మూల‌మూర్తికి ముందు గ‌రుడాళ్వార్ స‌న్నిధిలో కౌతుకమూర్తి అయిన‌ శ్రీ మనవాళపెరుమాళ్(శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీనివాసమూర్తి)ను, ఆయన కు అభిముఖంగా శ్రీ విష్వక్సేనులవారిని ఉంచారు. త‌ర్వాత‌ శ్రీ‌వారి మూల‌మూర్తిని శ్రీ  భోగ శ్రీ‌నివాస‌మూర్తికి క‌లుపుతూ దారం క‌ట్టి అనుసంధానం చేశారు. అన‌గా శ్రీ భోగ శ్రీ‌నివాస‌మూర్తికి నిర్వ‌హించే అభిషేకాధి క్ర‌తువులు మూల‌మూర్తికి నిర్వ‌హించిన‌ట్లు అవుతుంది.
   
అనంత‌రం వేద పండితులు వేద పారాయ‌ణం చేయ‌గా, అర్చకస్వాములు  ప్ర‌త్యేక సహస్రకలశాభిషేకం వైభ‌వంగా నిర్వహించారు. కాగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోని ఆర్జిత సేవలన్నీ యథావిధిగా నిర్వహించారు.
