SRI GODA RANGANATHA PARINAYAM CELEBRATED WITH RELIGIOUS FERVOUR

TIRUPATI, JAN 14:  The celestial marriage of Andal Sri Goda Devi with the Supreme Lord Sri Ranganatha Swamy has been celebrated with religious fervour in Annamacharya Kala Mandiram on Tuesday in Tirupati following the ceremonious conclusion of the holy month of Dhanurmasam.

Andal Sri Goda being an ardent devotee of Lord Ranaganatha dedicated her whole life in His service and succeeded in becoming his Consort with pure love. Goda Parinayam marks the unification of Jeevathma with Paramathma.

Dhanurmasam concluded in a grand manner at Tirupati on Tuesday with the performance of the celestial Goda Kalyanam which immersed the local pilgrims in divine world.

The programme commenced with Thiruppavai pravachanam by the great scholar Sriman Pudur Rangarajan and melodious chanting of last Pasuram of Thiruppavai by Smt.Dwaram Lakshmi.

Following this, 11-year old M. Bhanuja of Tirupati, has rendered Thiruppavai pasurams in a splendid manner in the form of Kuchipudi dance which enthralled the audience.  The programme concluded by Goda Kalyam conducted by Alwar Divy Prabandha Project.  Sri O. Balaji, Addl. FA & CAO TTD, Sri Chokkalingam, Special Officer, Alwar Divya Prabhandha Project, etc., also attended the programme.
