SRI KT BRAHMOTSAVAMS CONCLUDES WITH TRISHULA SNANAM

Tirupati, 9 March 2016: As the annual brahmotsavams in Sri vaishnavaite temples concludes with Chakrasnanam to Sri Sudarshan Chakrattalwar, the Navahnika brahmotsavams in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple culminated with TRISHULA Snanam on Wednesday.

SNAPANAM: After performing snapanam to the utsavarulu and the prime weapon of Lord Shiva-TRISHULAM, was immersed in the sacred waters of the temple tank amidst the chant of VEDIC hymns by temple priests as per Saivagama at 11:30am.

The devotees who thronged to witness the holy fete also took holy dip in waters at the auspicious moment of immersion of Trishula chanting “HARA HARA MAHA DEVA SAMBHO SANKARA”.

SIGNIFICANCE: TRISHULA-the trident weapon of Lord Shiva represents the three fundamental aspects of life. Temple deputy EO Sri Balaji and other officials were also present.
