SRI KT GEARS UP FOR MAHA EVENT

Tirupati, 6 March 2016: The famous temple of Sri Kapileswara Swamy set ready to observe Maha Sivarathri in a big way on March 7 and the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has made elaborate arrangements in view of heavy pilgrim influx for the event.

While the day starts in the wee hours with Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam at 2.30am followed by Bhogi Theru between 7am and 9am. The devotees will be arranged for sarva darshan between 5;30am to 12 midnight on Monday. Meanwhile the lord takes special ride on his favourite Nandi Vahanam between 6pm to 10pm in the streets on Monday evening to bless His devotees

TTD has also made special arrangements of cultural programmes to entertain pilgrims in the devotional fervour.
