SRI RAMANUJACHARYA IS A JEWEL TO SRI VAISHNAVA BHAKTI CULT-TTD EO

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 1 May 2017: Saint Ramanujacharya stood as a dazzling Jewel of Sri Vaishnava Bhakti Sampradaya and revolutionised the spiritual world, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The TTD EO took part in the special programme arranged by Sri Yogi Nareyana Mutt of Karnataka which undertook Sri Ramadandu Pada Yatra with 1500 devotees from Chintamani to Srinivasa Mangapuram celebrating the millennium birth anniversary of Saint Ramanujacharya.

Speaking on this occasion the EO said, Sri Ramanuja preached the world equality with Bhakti Tatva some 1000 years ago itself overcoming all the social disparities which prevailed in those days. “Today we are remembering his ardent services to Lord and humanity which made him an immortal spiritual human”, he maintained. “TTD undertook Ramanuja Sanchara Radham covering all Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams spread across the country and also observed Srinivasa Kalyanams in 30 clusters. Many like minded organisations have also observed Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi in a befitting manner through out the country since last one year”, he observed.

The chairman of the mutt, Sri MR Jayaram said, We have observed the Ramanuja Fete for a year in Kaivaram of Karnataka and paid tributes to the great soul.
