Vontimitta,09 April 2021: In view of rising cases of Covid across the country, TTD along with the YSR Kadapa district administration has decided to observe the famous Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta as per National Covid guidelines for benefit of the health security of devotees, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.
EO inspected the premises of Kalyana Vedika where the celestial marriage takes place at Vontimitta on April 26 along with district collector Sri Harikiran and SP Sri Anburajan. Later he had darshan of Sri Kodandarana Swamy.
Speaking to media on the occasion he said, the annual brahmotsavams at Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam will be conducted from April 21 to 29 as per Covid norms. The Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be taking part in the celestial Kalyanam for the first time on April 26. As the second wave of Covid is on rise, a restricted figure of 5000 devotees will alone be allowed to take part in the celestial marriage.
The EO also appealed to the local devotees to adhere to the Covid guidelines and co-operate with TTD and district management towards the successful conduct of the mega religious event. He said the SVBC will be telecasting the live event of celestial marriage which commences at 8pm onwards for the benefit of global devotees.
The procedure for issuance of passes will be discussed with the district management later, he added.

ఏప్రిల్ 26న కల్యాణానికి విచ్చేయనున్న రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు
ఒంటిమిట్ట, 2021 ఏప్రిల్ 09: ఒంటిమిట్టలోని శ్రీ కోదండరామస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో ఏప్రిల్ 26న జరుగనున్న రాములవారి కల్యాణానికి కోవిడ్ నేపథ్యంలో పరిమిత సంఖ్యలో భక్తులను అనుమతిస్తామని, ఇందుకోసం 5 వేల మందికి పాసులు జారీ చేస్తామని టిటిడి ఈఓ డాక్టర్ కెఏస్.జవహర్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. ఒంటిమిట్టలోని బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల ఏర్పాట్లను శుక్రవారం సాయంత్రం జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ శ్రీ హరికిరణ్, ఎస్పీ శ్రీ అన్బురాజన్ తో కలిసి ఈఓ పరిశీలించారు. అనంతరం రాములవారిని దర్శించుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈఓ మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ శ్రీ కోదండరామస్వామివారి వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ఏప్రిల్ 21 నుంచి 29వ తేదీ వరకు జరుగనున్నాయని తెలిపారు. ఏప్రిల్ 26న రాత్రి 8 గంటలకు రాములవారి కల్యాణం నిర్వహించాలని టిటిడి, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించినట్టు చెప్పారు. రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు తొలిసారిగా కల్యాణానికి విచ్చేయనున్నట్టు తెలిపారు. కల్యాణవేదిక వద్ద కోవిడ్ నిబంధనలు పాటిస్తూ భక్తులు కూర్చునేందుకు వీలుగా ఏర్పాట్లు చేపడతామన్నారు. పాసులు ఉన్న వారిని మాత్రమే అనుమతిస్తామని, పాసులు పొందలేనివారు ఎస్వీబీసీ ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారం ద్వారా కల్యాణాన్ని వీక్షించవచ్చన్నారు. భక్తులందరూ టిటిడికి సహకరించాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈఓ విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
