SRI VENKATESWARA VAIBHAVOTSAVAMS IN HYDERABAD FROM FEBRUARY 6-12

Hyderabad, 28 January 2016: The fifth phase of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams is all set to enthrall the denizens of Hyderabad from February 6-12 in the spacious NTR stadium located in Domalguda.

After receiving huge response for the Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams which were performed by the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) in Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Nellore and New Delhi earlier, the temple administration is now set to observe the mega religious programme in Hyderabad from February 6-12.

Briefing about the concept, Tirupati JEO of TTD Sri Pola Bhaskar told media persons in the NTR stadium at Hyderabad on Thursday, Tens of thousands of local devotees thronged to all the venues earlier where this fete was performed.

He said, under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao, TTD has set perform the religious fete now in Hyderabad in its fifth phase. ”All Arjitha Sevas that are being offered to Lord Venkateswara from dawn to dusk in Sri Tirumala temple will be performed during these seven days in the spacious NTR Stadium. The special weekly sevas like Visesha Puja, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana, Sahasra Kalasabhishekam, Tiruppavada, Abhishekam will also be performed apart from Suprabhatam, thomala, archana, kalyanotsavam, Dolotsavam, Brahmotsavam, Vasanthotsavam, Sahasradeepalankara Seva and Ekanta Seva in the finely decked replica temple which is going to set up here to give a special feel to devotees, as if they were witnessing these sevas in the abode of the Lord in Tirumala”, he added.

“The devotees can witness these sevas sitting right in their home town on free of cost. This is a great opportunity for those who could not make it to Tirumala. All Srivari Devotees are requested to take part in this religious programme in traditional dress”, he maintained.
