NELLORE, AUGUST 5: With just couple of days left for the nine day spiritual event of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams, one of the most successful programmes designed by TTD with an aim to propagate Sri Venakteswara Bhakti Cult in the society in a big way, TIRUPATI JEO Sri P Bhaskar made a visit to the venue here on Wednsday.
Addressing the media persons during in the spacious AC Subba Reddy stadium located in Nellore city, he said, The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is set to perform third phase one of its most popular spiritual programme, Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams in Nellore city from August 8-16. ”
“This mega religious fete will commence with the spiritual discourse of Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao and TTD Asthana Vidwan Sri G Balakrishna Prasad on August 7 evening. The chief motto of this programme is to facilitate a common man to witness the daily rituals that are being performed the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, sitting right at their native places, as it is a Herculean task to witness all the SEVAS in Tirumala due to space constraint and limited number of tickets. But this fete offers opportunity to denizens to witness all rituals free of cost in their home town”, he observed.
Jeo said, this programme was an instant hit in Visakhapatnam which was performed in the famous Swarnabharathi Auditorium from 21st to 29th of July in 2014 while the Second phase of this religious fete was performed in the spacious police parade grounds in Guntur from April 10-18 early this year.
Adding further the JEO said in Nellore, renowned Industrialist and Philanthropist Sri Prabhakar Reddy has come forward to bear the expenditure towards this event. Honourable Union Minister Sri Venkaiah Naidu has also offered his support to organise the event in AC Subba Reddy stadium.
TTD CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, DyEO Annaprasadam Sri Venugopal, VGO Sri Ravinder Reddy, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.

Meanwhile the stage has been readied to carry out the event in a grand manner. The Photo exhibition by the Public Relations Department of TTD is going to be a special attraction as the expo includes rare photographs projecting the Past and Present Glory of Tirumala under the theme, “Tara Tarala Tirumala”.
SALE OF TTD PUBLICATIONS AT SUBSIDISED RATES
On the other hand TTD would be selling its publications at subsidised price. Many popular books including Bharatam, Bhagavatham, Inscriptions of Tirumala, History of Tirumala, Hari Koluvu, Siri Koluvu etc. will be kept for sale.
