SRINIVASA KALYANAM IN BANGALORE
Bangalore, 23 June 2013: It has been a colourful feast to many thousands of pairs of eyes who witnessed the grandeur of celestial wedding of Lord Malayappa Swamy (Lord Venkateswara or Lord Balaji) along with His two consorts in Bangalore on Sunday.
The Srinivasa Kalyanam has been performed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) with spiritual splendor and religious ecstasy in Bangalore in the premises of Lord Venkateswara Kalyana Mandapam, 16th Cross, Malleswaram, Vyalikavali. The celestial fete was performed by a team of priests hailing from TTD.
Addressing the ceremonious occasion, TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri K Bapiraju, said, TTD has been conducting Srinivasa Kalyanams with an aim to propagate Sri Venkateswara Bhakti cult across the globe. He said these Kalyanams will provide a celestial feast to the people of respective areas.
Meanwhile a team of archakas who perform pujas and Kalyanotsavam in the Srivari temple in Tirumala conducted the celestial marriage with utmost devotion and spiritual elegance with different aspects of puja starting with Vishwaksena Aradhana, followed by Punyahavachanam, Ankurarpana, Kanakana Dharana, Agni Pratistha, Mahajana Sankalpam, Kanyadanam, Mangalya Dharana Mahotsavam ceremony, Nakshatra Harati and concluding with Kumbha Harati.
TTD EO Sri L.V.Subramanyam, TTD Board Members Sri R.V.Despande, Sri Ch. Lakshman Rao, Sri L.R.Sivaprasad, Supdt Engineer Sri Sudhakar Rao, Executive Engineer Sri Jagadeeswara Reddy, LAC Chairman Sri Shyam Raju, local officers, denizens also took part in this celestial marriage.
