FOUR LINE DARSHAN IN TEMPLE

ANNAPRASADA TO 25 THOUSAND DEVOTEES

Vijayawada, 13 July 2016: The replica temple of Lord Venakteswara will be open for darshan of devotees from August 7 onwards during the ensuing Krishna Pushkarams, said TTD Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Addressing media persons at PWD grounds in Vijayawada on Wednesday, the Jeo said TTD has been making elaborate arrangements for the devotees during the river event which is scheduled from August 12-23. “With a special attention, the honourable CM of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu has allotted PWD grounds which is located at the heart of the capital city to set up the replica temple of Lord Venakteswara, which is going to be a special attraction during 12-day river festival. On August 7, the temple will be opened after performing agama rituals here”, he added.

FOUR LINE DARSHAN

For the convenience of the devotees, four line darshan is planned. The devotees will be offered chakkera pongali, pulihora as prasadams apart from mini Laddu Prasadams after completing darshan of lord. Separate shoe keeping rack is also planned.

CC CAMERA FOR VIGIL

The entire temple premises will be under the eagle watch of CC TVs as over 75 thousand devotees are expected everyday. The parakamani-hundi counting activity will also be carried out amidst tight security.

VEDA GHOSHA TWICE A DAY

To enthrall the visiting pilgrims we have organized many devotional programmes including veda ghosha twice a day, Annamacharya Sankeertana during unjal Seva etc. Apart from PWD grounds, the programs are also arranged at Bhuddha statue in Amaravati and also at Andhra Maha Vishnu temple at Srikakulam.

AKHANDA DASA BHAJANA

The rendering of dasa bhajana round the clock by artistes is going to be another major attraction. Meanwhile 1000 srivari Seva volunteers and scouts and guides apart from 800 work force will be deployed for the event.

COMPLETE SUPPORT TO TTD

The Krishna district collector Sri A Babu said that the district administration will extend full support to TTD in its activities

JEO AND TEAM OFFICERS INSPECT

Earlier, Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju along with a team of senior officers, inspected the ongoing arrangements. All projects special officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, SE Sri sudhakar Rao, Transport GM Sri Sesha Reddy and others were also present.
