SRIVARI KALYANAM PERFORMED IN TALLAPAKA

Thallapaka, 21 May 2016: Srinivasa Kalyanam was performed with religious fervour in the home turf is saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya on the occasion of the 608th Jayanti celebrations.

The processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy flanked by His two consorts were seated on the special platform at Tallapaka on Saturday. Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who took part in this celestial fete said that the saint poet has penned over 32000 sankeertans in praise of lord Venakteswara. Ttd has been observing his jayanthi and vardhanti fete in big way every year in
Tallapaka, Tirumala and Tirupati, he added.

Later the Kalyanam was performed to the deities in a colourful manner.
Later floral tributes have also been paid to 108 feet statue of Annamacharya.

All projects special officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, MLA M Mallikarjuna Reddy was also present.
