“SRIVARI SEVAKS” NOW SANCTIFY IN THE SERVICE OF “SRI RAMA”

TIRUPATI, APRIL 1:  The Srivari Seva volunteers who have been sanctifying their lives in the service of Lord Venkateswara by rendering services to millions of visiting pilgrims at Tirumala from the past almost one and a half decades, are now offering services in the temple of Lord Sri Venkata Kodanda Rama Swamy in Tirupati for the first time.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTDs) which began Srivari Seva-a voluntary service wing with an aim to provide an opportunity to the pilgrims to serve their co-pilgrims in Tirumala in the year 2000, became a huge hit among the masses with nearly 4.60lakh sevakulu offering services to the visiting pilgrims in the last 14 years of its glorious journey. With the success of Srivari Seva in Tirumala, TTD extended the services in Tirupati also under the instructions of TTD EO Sri MG Gopal which came in to force on 17th February this year.

Since then Srivari Sevakulu have been offering services to the pilgrims at the temples of Tiruchanoor, Srinivasa Mangapuram, Kapilateertham, Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple apart from Annaprasadam counters at Tiruchanoor, Sreenivasam and Vishnunivasam complexes.  So far about 1400 Srivari Sevakulu rendered services in these areas in the past one and a half months duration. Under the instructions of Tirupati Joint EO Sri P Bhaskar, over 150 Srivari Sevakulu have been deployed to control the pilgrim crowd management on the Garuda Seva Day during the on going brahmotsavams at the famous ancient temple of Lord Sri Venkata Kodanda Rama Swamy in Tirupati on Tuesday.

Earlier the Srivari Sevakulu rendered excellent services in the temples of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram and Sri Kapileswara Swamy at Kapilateertham temples during their respective brahmotsavams this year.
