TAMIL NADU TRIBAL DANCES ENTRALL DEVOTEES AT MADA STREETS
Tirumala, 13 October 2018: The popular folk art forms and dances of tribals in Tamil nadu will be showcased at the Srivari Brahmotsavams on the mada street parades.
Shankara Narayanan, the culture officer of the Tamil Nadu government m said a 37-member troupe including two women would stage 5 art formats at the Brahmotsavams.
The art forms were Karagaattan, Kali attam, Thappata Attam, Pettari atam and Neyyandi Melam where dancers dressed in bright clors and folk ornaments regaled the crowds with songs and skits in their local lingos.
