“THE BEST WAY OF WORSHIPING LORD IS TO DISCHARGE YOUR DUTIES WITH DEDICATION”-TTD EO DR D SAMBASIVA RAO

TIRUPATI, SEPTEMBER 2: “You are all fortunate to be in the divine abode of Lord Venkateswara as the custodians of security and the best way of worshiping Him is to discharge you duties with dedication by serving the multitude of visiting pilgrims in the finest possible manner”, asserted TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

In view of the ensuing annual brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara, TTD Vigilance and Security “Durbar” was held at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Wednesday. TTD EO Sri Rao who graced the occasion as chief guest in his address called upon the vigilance and security sleuths to work with unison, serving the devotees with patience and win the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

While complimenting the excellent services of TTD Vigilance and Security wing in providing security cover to the temple as well to the scores of pilgrims, the EO said “Lord does not love being worshipped each second. He wants every person to work hard and deliver his or her best. So, I believe, you all will stick to this old saying “Work is Worship” and deliver your responsibilities with more commitment and devotion for the ensuing mega religious event in Tirumala”, he maintained.

Adding further, the EO said, “Today, Tirumala shrine is considered to be one among the best religious centres of the world in terms of discipline, time sense, cleanliness and providing different amenities to the pilgrims including security cover. Come out with innovative ideas in providing enhanced security mechanisms to our pilgrims. As we are dealing with pilgirms and not with criminals, show some patience and handle the things courteously”, EO added.

Earlier, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer of TTD Sri G Nagendra Kumar called upon the vigilance and security sleuths of TTD to be role model to others. He complimented the sleuths for having discharged their duties in a fabulous way during Summer vacation, Rajamundry Pushkarams, Pandragust, Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams etc.

Later he requested the EO to look into some important measures including filling up vacancies, setting up of some modern security gadegets at Alipiri and Srivari Mettu and also in Tiruchanoor in order to strengthen the security wing for which EO has positively reacted. After the meeting, EO has given away the meritorious certificates to the TTD cops who have discharged their duties skilfully.

Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, VGOs Sri Ravinder Reddy, Smt Vimala Kumari, AVSOs of all sectors over 900 vigilance and security sleuths of TTD attended the Durbar.
