TIRUMALA JEO, CVSO INSPECTS FEB 14 ARRANGEMENTS

Tirumala, 2 February 2016: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Tuesday evening along with CVSO Sri D Nagendra Kumar inspected the ongoing arrangements for Radhasapthami-Suryajayanthi Mahotsavam scheduled for February 14.

After inspection, speaking to media persons, the JEO said, Radhasapthami is often considered as Mini Brahmotsavams as Lord takes celestial ride on seven different vahanams from dawn to dusk. “Starting from 5:30 am with Suryaprabha Vahanam and concluding with Chandraprabha Vahanam by 9pm, the Lord rides on seven vehicles on a single day. So we are making elaborate arrangements for the auspicious event. All the galleries we have inspected today along with CVSO and Tirupati Urban SP Sri Gopinath Jetti inspected the arrangements. Every hour food will be distributed in galleries to the pilgrims. For chakrasnanam special vigilance and police arrangements has also been planned on that day”, he added.

VGO Sri Raveendra Reddy, Smt Vimala Kumari, Addl SP Sri Swamy and others were present.
