TTD EO INSPECTS LPT AND LNF COUNTERS IN TIRUMALA
Tirumala, 2 February 2016: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Tuesday evening inspected the LPT, Lost and Found counters in Tirumala.
He interacted with the pilgrims near LPT counters. The pilgrims brought to his notice that still most of the pilgrims are unaware of additional laddu tickets and additional laddus which are booked on-line itself while booking Rs.300 tickets. The EO said enough publicity will be given on these amenities through media.
Later he visited Lost and Found counter set up adjacent to temple near LPT. Speaking to media persons he said, this was set up by TTD Vigilance wing for the sake of the devotees who were lost from their families. “Apart from this centre, we are now looking for a suitable place to establish a similar centre for the sake of the pilgrims”, he added.
CVSO Sri D Nagendra Kumar said, the Lost and Found centre was set up about five months ago. “Every day about 10-15 pilgrims are visiting the centre every hour. We are making announcements in four different languages, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English with the help of Srivari Sevakulu. With the instructions of EO, we are searching for another suitable place”, he maintained.
