TIRUPATI JEO INSPECTS SIVARATHRI ARRANGEMENTS
TIRUPATI, FEB 26: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Wednesday inspected the elaborate arrangements made by TTD in connection with the big religious occasion of Maha Sivarathri which is slated to take place on Thursday in the Lord Shiva temple in Kapilateertham.
After his hour long inspection, JEO said, this Lord Shiva temple under the contol of TTD is one of the biggest shrines which attractions thousands of pilgrims on the auspicious occasion of Mahasivarathri. He said, keeping in view the heavy influx of pilgrim rush, TTD has made elaborate security and barricading arrangements to see that no untoward incident take place in the temple premises due to heavy turn out of pilgrims.
He said, after negotiating with forest officials and police department TTD has made some special vehicular parking arrangements and queue lines to avoid traffic congetion and inconvenience to visiting pilgrims on Thursday.
The JEO said, so far the brahmtosavams of Kapileshwara Swamy temple went off in a smooth way and urged the pilgrim devotees to maintain the same disciplene even on Mahasivarathri day and co-operate with TTD.
Meanwhile the darshan to pilgrims will be open from 5.30am to 11pm on Thursday.
