TIRUPATI JEO REVIEWS ON TIRUCHANOOR BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS

TIRUPATI, SEPT. 19: As the annual brahmotsavams of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi of Tiruchanoor is scheduled to take place from November 19 to November 27, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar reviewed with various department heads of TTD on the arrangements to be taken up for the mega religious event.

In his review meeting at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO said the review meeting has been taken up two months prior so as to complete long pending works within the stipulated time. The JEO said, in view of the pilgrim rush anticipated for this event, there is need to keep enough quantity of buffer stock of laddu prasadams.
“Potu-the temple kitchen need to be expanded and for this the present parakamani hall to be shifted to Asthana Mandapam and renovation works shall be taken up”, he added.

As lot of time is there for the nine-day event, the JEO directed the officials to give wide publicity to the festival in the surrounding villages and hamlets with the help of publicity materials like posters, pamphlets and booklets.

He directed the officials concerned to take up elaborate arrangements on par with the annual brahmotsavams of Tirumala and set up a common control room to monitor the activities round the clock. He instructed the officials to see that the pilgrims are not put to inconvenience especially during the important festive days of Gaja Vahanam, Bangaru Ratham and Panchami Teertham.
JEO instructed the electrical department to erect new mythological themes to decorate the temple town in a vivid manner and make innovative floral diaromas for the event.
CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Temple Spl Grade Deputy EO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi, SEs Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Sri Sudhakar Rao and other officials were also present.
