TIRUPATI JEO TAKES OVER AS VEDIC VARSITY IN-CHARGE VC

Tirupati, 31 July 2017: With the completion of his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University on Monday Prof KE Devanathan handed over the charges to Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

Following the directives of Honourable Governor of AP and TS Sri ESL Narasimhan who is also the Chancellor of the varsity, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar assumed charges as Vice Chancellor( full additional Charge) of the vedic varsity in Tirupati.

Speaking on this occasion, the JEO said, “It’s been a privilege to take over the reins as VC of vedic varsity with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. “Prof KE Devanathan has brought many initiatives in the academic as well administration. I will take forward the legacy and strengthen the varsity to further levels with the support of the elite faculty of the vedic varsity till a regular VC is posted”, he maintained.

Prof KE Devanathan took over the reins as VC of Vedic Varsity on February 20 in the year 2014. During his tenure he has started Adarsha Veda Gurukulam-teaching veda to students in Gurukula Pathashalas which used to be in good olden days. He organised 25 national and 2 international seminars in the varsity. During his regime 70 rare books have been published. A unique Veda Science Research Centre was also set up in the varsity campus where in the vedic scientists along with the modern age intellectuals do research to unearth scientific facts and formulae hidden in vedas.
