TIRUPATI TRANSPORT WING CELEBRATES AYUDHA PUJA

Tirupati, 5 November 2015: The Transport wing of TTD in Tirupati has celebrated Ayudha Puja in a ceremonious way on Thursday in the transport office located opposite administrative building.

All the fleet of vehicles have been clean, decorated with floral garlands and pandals to match the occasion and special puja was performed to the vehicles especially the Kalyana Ratham Vehicle carrying the deities of Lord Venkateswara with His two consorts amid chanting of veda mantras and mangala vaidyams.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao who took part in the puja said, the transport wing of TTD has been doing impeccable service especially in taking up dharma prachara in a big way through kalyana rathams. He appreciated the expertise of TTD drivers for incident free driving especially on Tirumala ghat roads. The EO also lauded the transport wing for offering free services to pilgrims in Tirumala by operating free buses in a gap of every eight minutes and enabling the pilgrims to reach their destination within Tirumala.

GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy, Assistant Mechanical Foreman Smt Lakshmi Prasanna, Driving Inspectors Sri Ramesh, Sri Mohan and other staff members were also present.
