TS CM OFFERS PRAYERS IN SRI PAT

OFFERS NATTU(NOSE PIN) TO DEITY

Tiruchanur, 22 February 2017: The honourable Chief Minister of Telengana offered prayers in the temple of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor on Wednesday.

Earlier he was accorded warm welcome by TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishna murty, JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri Pola Bhaskar, special grade DyEO Sri Munirathnam Reddy on his arrival at the main entrance of the temple.

Later the CM of TS along with his spouse Smt Shobha carried the jewel and silk vastrams that are to be offered to the presiding deity of Goddess Padmavathi Devi.

The golden Nattu-nose pin weighing around 12.5grams studded with precious stones worth around Rs.1.18lakhs has been presented to Goddess on behalf of Government of Telengana. The nose pin had the design of the state bird of Telengana-Pala Pitta(Indian Roller).

Later the dignitaries offered prayers to Goddess inside sanctum sanctorum. The TTD mandarins offered prqsadams to CM of TS and his entourage. Speaker of Telengana Assembly Sri Madhusudhanachari, MP Smt Kavita and others were present.

AP Minister Sri B Gopala Krishna Reddy, local legislators Smt Sugunamma, Sri C Bhaskar Reddy, TTD board members Sri C Ramachandra Reddy, Sri G Bhanu prakash Reddy, Tirupati Urban SP Smt Jayalakshmi, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy were also present.
