TTD ALLOTS LAND TO ARAVIND EYE CARE HOSPITAL

Tirupati, 17 December 2015: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Thursday handed over seven acres of TTD land near SV Zoo Park on lease basis to Madhurai based Aravind Eye Care institution to set up their centre in temple city of Tirupati. The hospital chairman Sri R D Ravindran took the lease papers.

Later the chairman of the hospital along with Go Well Trust President Sri G Srinivasan formally visited TTD EO in his chambers in Tirupati.

EO told them, apart from providing darshan to pilgrims, TTD is doing its bit of social service by the way of hospitals and educational institutions. “Our aim is to give the best of eye care to our employees and the people of this area. I wish you to take up the task and complete the construction of hospital in couple of years. You can also organise some eye camps in January 2016”, he added.

Meanwhile Sri Ravindran assured the EO that they will provide free and subsidy Medicare to 50% of people. “In our Rs.100crores hospital project we will construct the hospital in 1.50lakhs square feet land and 50thouand square feet will be for training and remaining for staff quarters etc. We will also conduct screening camps soon”, he asserted.

TTD Estates Officer Sri Balakrishna was also present.
