TTD AV ON DHARMIC ACTIVITIES IS A PROOF OF ITS COMMITMENT

Tirumala, 03 February 2024: The pontiffs a who graced the Dharmika Sadas by TTD which commenced at Astana Mandapam in Tirumala on Friday complimented TTD for its devotion and commitment in implementing many dharmic activities which were resolved in previous Sadas.

 

A Bird’s view on TTD Dharmic activities was presented in a 40-minute Audio-visual documentary before commencing the suggestion session. Highlights of the AV.

 

HDPP :

 

Focus on programs like Managudi, Shravana Pournami, Gita Jayanti, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Ugadi and other spiritual programs.

 

So far 689 temples were constructed with SRIVANI Trust, training 1501 village youth in archaka skills, 5000 per month financial assistance for Dhoopa and Deepa activities in temples..Nearly 29298  persons from remote areas brought to Tirumala for srivari Darshan during Brahmotsavams, and Vaikuntha Ekadasi in four phases so far.

 

Under the Gudiko Gomata program, 194 temples were given cows and calves to encourage Gopuja.

 

Under the Dasa Sahitya project, 680 Dasa sankeertans were recorded and 80 books were compiled for public benefit.

  

225 Parayanadars perform Divya prabanda Parayanams in Vaishnava temples.

962 Srinivasa Kalyanams were performed.

 

Honorariums to 1308 Veda pundits, 60 aged pundits, 119 agama pundits,15 Ahitagnis, 110 deceased pundits.

 

Annamacharya project has recorded 4530 sankeertans in 29 volumes with 340 artists in Sangeeta and Harikatha program.

 

In the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba project, 114 works were recorded and 2 volumes compiled  

 

In the Purana Itihasa project, eight Puranas were published 437 students at Dharmagiri Veda Vijnana peetham and at Keesaragutta, Vijayanagaram, Bhimavaram Kotappakonda and Nalgonda veda Pathashalas of TTD

 

SV Ayurveda College and Pharmacy promoting Ayurveda medicines

 

SV College of Music and Dance for promoting classical fine arts.

 

SV Manuscript project promoting digitisation of lakhs of palm leaf documents for the benefit of future generations.

 

Srivari seva volunteers providing services to devotees since the 2000 

 

SVBC channel in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada besides Telugu in promoting Dharmic programs

 

Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Trust providing Anna Prasadam to over 60,000 devotees daily.

 

SV Goshala has 2300 cows, four horses, seven elephants and now the Gosamrakshana program aims at breeding of desi cows.

 

SVIMS, BIRRD and Sri Padmavati Children’s Health Care providing quality Medicare freely.

 

And many more dharmic activities by TTD were displayed which won the appreciation of the Pontiffs.
