TTD CELEBRATES 69TH I-DAY WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOUR
TOP PRIORITY TO PILGRIM FRIENDLY SERVICES-TTD EO I-DAY SPEECH ESSENCE
TIRUPATI, AUGUST 15: The temple management of TTD has celebrated the 69th Independence with patriotic fervour and TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao has vowed to take forward more and more pro pilgrim measures.

> After the flag hoisting ceremony in TTD Parade Grounds on Saturday, the EO in his address said that, the country today is relishing the sweetness of the fruits which were grow out of the patriotic seeds sown by the great leaders who sacrifices their lives in the freedom struggle. In a similar way we should follow the footsteps of our leaders and should take oath to put our efforts in implementing pro-pilgrim measures”, he added.

> The TTD administrative chief later delivered his I-Day message. Some excerpts:

> As this year we have two Brahmotsavams in offing in September and October respectively, we should render our services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims with extra energy and dedication.

> Later he said, “In the last few months we have implemented several pilgrim initiatives to make their pilgrimage to Tirumala hassle-free and a memorable one like revamping the on-line services, reviving payment gateway, enhancing transparency in accommodation, increasing the on-line quota of Special entry Darshan tickets etc. in our official website with the help of TCS”, the EO said.

> Adding further he said on Hindu Dharma Prachara front TTD has taken up Sadacharam, Subhapradam, Sanatana Dharmoc exams, etc. “On August 29 we will be observing Seventh Phase of Managudi in a big way and also contemplating to distribute “Govinds Raksha” Kankanams” as Srivari Divine Blessings on this auspicious day.

> The EO also said, TTD is contemplating a massive Goshala, a 10 Mega watts Solar Energy and 7.2 Mega watts Wind Electricity plants in Chittor district and would soon become a self reliant source of non-conventional energies.

> I whole heartedly congratulate and thank our Archakas, officials, Teaching and non-teaching staff, vigilance, other staff members, retired persons, students, Srivari Sevakulu etc. for your co-operation and support in successfully carrying out our task of serving pilgrims and I wish you all to continue the same in future also.
The cultural activities by students of various TTD run institutions, especially by pupils of Deaf and Dumb school, feats by sniffer dogs etc. caught the attention of the spectators. Later meritorious awards were given to the staff who excelled offering services in their respective departments.
