TTD CHAIRMAN HAILS AMARAVATHI AS GATEWAY OF INDIA

Tirupati, 17 October 2015: TTD chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy today said that the new capital of Amaravati will develop and and emerge as the gateway of India in near future under the leadership of Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to reporters at Kapila thirtham he said the water and soil will be kept at the feet of Lord Venkateswara tonight and later transported to Vijayawada on forward journey to Amaravati for the foundation laying event. ‘The holy water and soil collected from seven hills of Tirumala as part of Mana -Neeru- Mana Matti program will be sent to Vijayawada tomorrow.

He said he had only yesterday participated in the unique event of Lord venkateswara temple take over at Anantavaram at a solemn event and vowed to develop it on par that Tirumala He said the holy water will also be taken from the Bangaru Bavi inside the Srivari temple this evening. All the vessels of holy water and and packets of sacred soil from seven locations of tirumala hills will be placed at Lord Venkateswara.
