New Delhi, 30 May: The TTD Chairman Sri K Bapi Raju on Thursday released the TTD published book on “Gold Coins in Srivari Hundi of Lord Venkateswara” at Dhyan Mandir in New Delhi on Thursday.
This is the unique book that was brought out by TTD during the World Telugu Conference that was held during december last in the temple town of tirupati. The book consists of fine pictures and details of gold, silver and copper coins that were offered in the Srivari Hundi in the temple of Lord Venkateswara in the last few centuries which were carefully peserved by the TTD Management. The coins includes that of Roman era of first century AD to that of the Nizam era of 20th century AD offered by anonymous devotees at various points of time. This 397 page book contains the detail description of 1213 gold coins and great research work done yestar year scholar late Sadu Subramanyam Sastry who brought this coins to lime light.
TTD Board members Smt K Kamala, Sri L Sivaprasad, SE III Sri Ramachandra Reddy and others were also present.

తిరుపతి, మే 30, 2013 : ”శ్రీవారి హుండీలో లభించిన బంగారు నాణేలు” పేరుతో తితిదే ముద్రించిన పుస్తకాన్ని తితిదే పాలకమండలి అధ్యకక్షులు శ్రీ కనుమూరి బాపిరాజు గురువారం న్యూఢిల్లో ఆవిష్కరించారు. తితిదే నిర్మించిన ధ్యానమందిరం ప్రారంభోత్సవంలో భాగంగా ఈ పుస్తకావిష్కరణ జరిగింది.
తిరుమల శ్రీవారి హుండీలో భక్తులు సమర్పించిన బంగారు, వెండి, రాగి నాణేలను చాలా ఏళ్లుగా తితిదే భద్రపరిచింది. ఆ నాణేల్లోని విలువైన పురాతన, చారిత్రక అంశాలను సమాజానికి తెలియజేయాలనే సంకల్పంతో 397 పేజీలతో ఈ పుస్తకాన్ని ముద్రించింది. ప్రముఖ పండితులు శ్రీ సాధు సుబ్రమణ్యశాస్త్రి పరిశోధనల్లో భాగంగా మొదటగా ఈ నాణేల చారిత్రక నేపథ్యాన్ని తితిదే గుర్తించింది. మొత్తం 1213 నాణేల్లోని అంశాలను ఇరువైపులా ఫొటోలు, వర్ణనతో సవివరంగా ఇందులో పేర్కొన్నారు. వీటిలో ఒకటో శతాబ్దం నాటి రోమన్‌ చక్రవర్తి నాణెంతో పాటు 20వ శతాబ్దం నాటి నిజాం చక్రవర్తి నాణెం వరకు ఉన్నాయి.
గతేడాది డిసెంబరులో తిరుపతిలో జరిగిన ప్రపంచ తెలుగు మహాసభల ప్రారంభోత్సవంలో రాష్ట్రపతి గౌ|| ప్రణబ్‌ముఖర్జీ చేతులమీదుగా తితిదే మొదట ఈ పుస్తకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించింది.
