TTD COMMENCES SARVA DARSHAN BEFORE SCHEDULED TIME

TIRUMALA, JANUARY 1: Keeping up its word of giving top priority to commoners for Vaikuntha Dwara darshan on New Year day, the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTDs) has commenced Sarva Darshan to pilgrims much before the scheduled time which won thumbs up from the pilgrims.

Under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao and in the round the clock supervision of Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sarva Darshan was implemented around two hours before the scheduled time of 5am.

Speaking on this occasion, TTD EO Sri Rao said, TTD has issued very limited number of passes to just protocol VIPs alone and restricted the number to 2474. “The VIP darshan began by 1.30am and concluded by 3.05am. Immediately after the completion of the VIP darshan, the free darshan commenced”, he added.

Meanwhile about 37,897 pilgrims had Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan from 3am to 12noon on Thursday.
