TTD EO INSPECTS QUEUE LINES IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 17 July,2014: TTD Executive Officer Sri MG Gopal on Thursday inspected Rs.300 queue line near VQC I in Tirumala along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

As the temple management is thinking on the lines of bringing some amendments in the Rs.300 darshan system, the EO inspected this queue line in specific and verified the mode of ticket issuing. He also inspected outside queue lines where Annaprasadams are being served to the visiting pilgrims in the waiting queues and tasked the quality of food.

Later speaking to media persons, the EO said, TTD has succeeded in the new three-stepped darshan system which was introduced almost two months ago inside srivari temple. “The pilgrims are  also expressing immense satisfaction with this new system of hassle free darshan. We are now thinking to bring changes in Rs.300 system to reduce the waiting time. Like Rs.50 darshan, we are contemplating to introduce time slots for Rs.300 special entry darshan also. These Rs.300 tickets will be soon made available on on-line booking and at e-darshan counters. The tickets can be booked in advance by a pilgrim in three different slots Viz. 14 days before, a week before and a day before and each mode will be allotted with specific number of tickets. We are contemplating to introduce this new system on an auspicious day in the month of Shravana”, he added.
