TTD EO INSPECTS Rs.300 QUEUE LINE

Tirumala, 20 August 2014: TTD EO Sri MG Gopal on Wednesday inspected the Rs.300 darshan queue line starting from TBC 129 at Tirumala along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and District Collector Sri Siddharth Jain.

As TTD has commenced issuing of the advance booking of Rs.300 special entry darshan tickets(one week before) on August 20 on trial basis in Internet Booking and e-Darshan counters, the EO inspected the facilities available to the pilgrims who are going to have darshan on August 27 including the scanners, seating arrangements, compartments etc.

Later speaking to media persons, the EO said the chief priority of TTD is to provide hassle free darshan to pilgrims. “The recently introduced three-stepped darshan system proved successful with majority of pilgrims expressing great satisfaction in this system. Now our motto is to reduce the waiting hours for the pilgrims in compartments and hence planned to issue Rs.300 darshan tickets in advance with a specific time slot. And we are confident that this system will also yield positive results”, he added.

SPs of Tirupati Urban and Chittoor Sri Gopinath Jetty and Sri G Srinivas respectively, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, , Temple Deputy EO Sri C Ramana were also present.
