TTD EO REVIEWS ON BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS

TIRUMALA, AUGUST 20: TTD EO Sri MG Gopal on Wednesday reviewed with HODs of TTD, District Administration, Police and Vigilance sleuths on the upcoming mega religious event of Annual Sri Vari Brahmotsavams at Annamaiah Bhavan.

Complimenting the team work of both TTD and district administration behind the successful execution of the nine-day event all these years, TTD EO asked the officials to continue the same spirit during the upcoming brahmotsavams which is scheduled from September 26 to October 4 this year.

Later addressing media persons, he said, the Honourable CM Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu will take part in the event on the first day and present the silk vastrams on behalf of the state government. “We will be sketching out a clear action plan and a minute to minute work plan for every vahanam procession during this brahmotsavams to see that the processions take place in a hassle-free manner”, he added.

The EO said, the important days includes Dhwajarohanam on September 26, Garuda Seva on September 30, Swarnaratham on October 1, Rathotsavam on October 3 and Chakrasnanam on October 4. “The plying of two-wheelers on Ghat road on the Garuda Seva day. We have negotiated with the RTC to ply more number of buses 24X7. As soon as a pilgrim enters Tirupati, he should feel the ambience before he steps the Hill town of Tirumala. We have also sought the corporation, RTC and railway authorities to keep the premises of Tirupati hygienic and tidy”, he maintained.

The EO said, TTD is making elaborate arrangements for free distribution of Annaprasadam, water, milk, medical aid etc. 24X7 to the visiting pilgrims during this annual event.

The top officer of TTDs said, all measures have been taken to see that there will be uninterrupted power and water supply.

Archakas, Agama Scholars, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Collector Sri Siddharth Jain, SP of Tirupati (Urban) Sri Gopinath Jetty, SP of Chittoor and In-charge CVSO Sri G Srinivas and other officers from TTD, RTC, District administration were also present.
