TTD EO, JEO AND DIG INSPECTS GHAT ROAD WORKS

Tirumala, 25 Nov. 15: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Wednesday evening inspected the ongoing repair works in second ghat road.

Later he instructed the engineering officials to complete the works on a faster pace and see that the two wheelers be allowed initially after the completion of repair works.

Later Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who inspected the site with Rayalaseema DIG Sri Satyanarayana and Tirupati Urban SP Sri Gopinath Jetti told the media that now the weather has returned to normalcy from the past two days, the works are going on at a faster pace day and night. The IIT experts and L&T team are doing a great job with their expertise. We will allow the vehicles to ply on second ghat initially starting with two wheelers, then four-wheelers and later heavy vehicles will be allowed once the road is completely restored. Today the police top brass officials also inspected the site and suggested to allow the vehicles systemically and we also allow the vehicles after the ghat road safety is ensured”, he added.
