TTD EO REVIEWS AMMAVARU BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS

Tirupati, Nov 6, 2013: TTD Executive officer Sri MG Gopal called upon the officials to perform the Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru Karthika brahmotsavams in Tiruchanoor which is scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 7 on par with Srivaru brahmotsavams time without any compromise on elaborate arrangements.

Reviewing the arrangements for the Brahmotsavams with the officials at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tiruchanoor, here on Wednesday, the EO directed the officials to give wide publicity to the festival in the surrounding villages and hamlets with the help of publicity materials like posters, pamphlets and booklets.

The EO directed the officials concerned to set up a common control room and monitor the activities round the clock during brahmtosavams as in the case of Srivari brahmotsavams at Tirumala. He instructed the officials to see that the pilgrims are not put to inconvenience especially during the important festive days of Gaja Vahanam, Bangaru Ratham and Panchami Teertham. “Especially special attention needs to be paid on sanitation, supply of drinking water and first aid centres. There should be uninterrupted supply of power during brahmotsavams. The giant LED screens should be erected in the four mada street corners for the sake of the visiting pilgrims and devotees”, he added.

He directed the officials to complete the pending works before the stipulated time. Earlier the EO visited all the important places in the temple town of Tiruchanoor. He said he will pave a visit again after the completion of pending works and also review the arrangements again.

TTD Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Urban SP Sri Rajasekhara Babu, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Temple Spl Grade Deputy EO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, Spl Gr Dy EO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi and other officials were also present.
