TTD EO TAKES PART IN ADHYAYANOTSAVAMS IN SRI TT

Tirumala, 29 December 2016:The TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao took part in unique event of Adhyayanotsavams in Sri Tirumala temple on Thursday evening.

This 25-day event, which usually commences eleven days prior to Vaikuntha Ekadasi commenced on Wednesday in Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala temple.
Every days the Nalayira Divya Prabandha pasurams couplets penned by 12 Alwars will be recited covering this period.

Meanwhile is festival has a history of over 750 years. The first ten days phase is called Pagalpatthu and next phase is known as Rapathu.

Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Temple Peishkar Sri R Selvam, Parpathyedar Sri Doraswamy Naik and others took part.
