FLOWER EXPO INAUGURATED

Tiruchanur, 19 November 2014: TTD EO Sri MG Gopal along with AP Minister for Forests and Environment Sri B Gopala Krishna Reddy, inaugurated the flower exhibition in Friday Gardens at Tiruchanoor as a part of the Karthika Brahmotsavams which commenced on Wednesday.

Both the dignitaries complimented the TTD Garden Department for the spectacular expo which carried many mythological dioramas, floral designs standing as a special piece of attraction to catch the attention of multitude of devotees thronging the celestial fete. Chandragiri Legislator Sri C Bhaskar Reddy, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar were also present.

Meanwhile several characters from the great Hindu epics of Mahabharata, Ramayana, Bhagavatha have been displayed in the expo which enthralled the devotees who thronged the exhibition.

According to TTD Garden Deputy Director Sri S Srinivasulu about Seven mythological characters have been put for display in the expo including the Varahaswamy-Srinivasa ghattam, Ksheerasagara Madhanam with lord in Kurmavatara, Asta Laskshmi Vaibhavam, Kiskindakandam, Lakkagriha ghattam, Shamanthaka Mani episode and Tapovana Lakshmi Devi. “We have brought 15 varieties of traditional and ornamental flowers from Bangalore including marigold, guinea, petunia, salvia, pelosia, dianthus, calanquai and used them for exquisite decoration of the expo as well the interiors of the temple. Over 100 workers have worked day and night to set up this expo and other arrangements under the supervision of our Farm Manager Sri Janardhan Reddy”,  he added.
