TTD FOR COMMON PILGRIM CENTRIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR JAN 1-TIRUMALA JEO

TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 24: The temple administration of TTDs is focusing on common pilgrim centric arrangements for the forthcoming mega events of new year day and Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi darshan at Srivari temple said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Addressing media persons outside temple on Wednesday at Tirumala, he said, “following the orders of AP CM Sri N Chandrasekhar Babu Naidu, under the instructions of TTD EO Sri D Sambasiva Rao, we are making all out arrangements to see that the common pilgrims had a hassle-free Vaikuntha dwara new year darshan on January 1 and 2. with this intention we have we have cancelled all darshan tickets and enabled only Savadarshan on Jan 1. Even we will be issuing limited number of tickets only to protocol VIPs. We urge them not seek additional number of tickets. Besides we will be blocking the accommodation in Padmavathi area from December 30 and the rooms will be issued to the VIPs only and not to their reference letters”, he added.

The JEO also said, however TTD has released a quota of ten thousand tickets of Rs.300 on internet on Wednesday so asto enable pilgrims to have Vaikuntha dwara darshan on Dwadasi day on Jan 2. “For the common pilgrims we have arranged sheds at different points alon with mobile toilets. Food, milk, coffee and tea distribution has also been made”, he added.
