TTD GETS PAT FROM SWACCH BHARAT OFFICIALS FOR CLEAN ENVIRONS

Tirumala, 18 November,16: The Swacch Bharat officials including Secretary, Ministry of Drinking water and sanitation Sri Parameswaran Iyer and OSD Swacch Bharat Mission Sri Akshai Rout along with the representatives of other iconic places poured in heaps of praises on TTD for maintaining clean and hygienic environs in Tirumala.

After the first quarter review meeting hosted by TTD in Tirupati, the Swacch Bharat delegates moved to hill town on Friday evening for a field visit to observe the various activities and pilgrim initiatives taken up by TTD.

Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who accompanied the entourage explained in detail about Annaprasadam, Kalyana Katta activity, clean environs etc. by taking them to Annaprasadam complex, renovated Kalyanakatta complex, Swamy Pushkarini and the newly constructed Divya Darshan complex for pedestrian pilgrims.

The delegates lauded TTD for its pro-pilgrim initiatives and the hygiene being maintained in Annaprasadam complex while preparation and distribution of food in a massive way.
