The Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju called upon over 500 vigilance and security sleuths of TTD to offer sincere services to see that no inconvenience is caused to the visiting pilgrims during brahmotsavams.
Addressing the vigilance sleuths on Brahmotsavam security arrangements in Centralised Command and Control centre in PAC IV on Thursday, the JEO said, though there is bandh, since the brahmotsavams begins on Puratasi Saturday, which is considered very auspicious especially for Tamils, the pilgrims may throng the holy hills through foot path route. “Though there is little mode of transport to Tirumala due to Samaikhyandhra bandh, the devotees might prefer the two foot path routes to reach Tirumala. So be attentive in your duties and responsibilities and see that the pilgrims are not put to any sort of inconvenience”, he asserted.
Later he instructed the cops to see that no one enter or deviate the specified zones during the procession of various vahana sevas during brahmotsavams. “In front of each vahanam there will be Kalajathas, Vaidika Haram and Security. The pilgrims should be properly maintained in the galleries and see that the processions take place in a hassle free manner”, he ordered.
