TTD MAKES SOME CHANGES IN LOCALS DARSHAN

Tirupati, 5 December 2014: The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) with a view to provide darshan to more number of locals, has brought some changes which will come into effect from December onwards.
Justifying the long-pending demand of the locals TTD has introduced darshan of Lord Venkateswara to locals on first Tuesday of every month by issuing 4,500 bio-metric tickets at e-Darshan counter at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati and 500 tickets at CRO in Tirumala since February this year.

However as majority of the locals are repetitively coming for darshan, TTD has made some amendments in this system so as to enable others to have darshan. Those who already had darshan in the months of September, October and November will not be issued darshan tokens for this month. The locals who already had darshan in the said months, have to wait for the next three months to have their turn for darshan starting from the day of their darshan as per the availability of the quota. A person will get an opportunity to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara four times in a year.

The locals are requested to make note of these changes and co-operate with the management.
