TTD RELEASES 54007 ARJITHA SEVA ON-LINE QUOTA TICKETS FOR FEB

“PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IS MORE IMPORTANT IN TTD DHARMIC ACTIVITIES”-TTD EO

Tirumala, 8 January 2016: While thanking the devotees for their co-operation and complimenting the work force of TTD for their team work for the recent success of VAIKUNTHA EKADASI and New Year Day arrangements, the TTD called upon the pilgrim devotees to take part in the Dharmic and service activities of TTD voluntarily in a big way.

Taking the calls from pilgrims during the monthly “Dial your EO” programme on Friday at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala he reacted to the compliments and suggestions which were poured in on TTD during the programme.

When pilgrim callers Sri Subramanyachari from Vizag, Sri Subramanyam from Kurnool, Sri Srinivas from Raipur while complimenting the revolutionary pro-pilgrim changes brought in the recent times in Tirumala, also suggested that TTD should enhance the spiritual feel and dharmic awareness among its devotees who throng to hill town by the way of putting Tilakams on forehead of every devotee waiting in compartments, encouraging Bhajan mandalis by telecasting programmes on SVBC and propagate more of TTD activities in Northern belt of the country to enable the devotees from those states to visit Tirumala.

Answering the callers the EO while welcoming their compliments and suggestions, also requested the pilgrim,devotees to take voluntarily take part in all the dharmic activities taken up by TTD including Srivari Seva where pilgrim offer services to fellow pilgrims. “You all should join hands with us to give enhanced services to pilgrims and take up dharma Prachara in a wide spread manner”, he maintained.

TAKE PART VOLUNTARILY IN LADDU PRASADA SEVA

Ttd EO called upon the pilgrims through the programme to voluntarily take part in the “Laddu Prasadam Issuing Seva” in a big way. “This will be a divine opportunity to the devotees to serve your fellow devotees to issue laddu Prasadams with your own hands. Those who have computer knowledge can take part in this noble service”, he maintained.

OVER 60THOUSANDS EVERY MONTH IN ONLINE QUOTA

Reacting to a pilgrim caller Sri Lala Lajpati Roy from Krishna district, the EO said, TTD will henceforth release about 60000 tickets of arjitha Seva under online quota every month. “This time that is today we have released a quota of 54007 tickets on-line for the month of February. The pilgrims can book these tickets after 11am onwards by registering on our official website with one time pass word”, he added. Quota includes:

Another caller Dr Balasubramanyam from Kolkata requested TTD SVBC to restart the PRAVACHANAM programme by Swami Paripoornananda of Sri Peetham as it is very effective among youth, to which EO said, it is already on air but with change in timings from 7:30pm to 10:30pm to enable more number of students to see the programme after their school and tuition classes.

Answering a pilgrim caller Sri Satyanarayana Murthy from Hyderabad, the EO said, TTD has cancelled booking of Arjitha Sevas through DDs as it is a time consuming process. “Now the on-line system is proving to be more fruitful and more transparent”, he said.

A caller Sri Satyaprasad from Dubai requested TTD not to cancel Rs.50 darshan tickets as it is a boon to poor, middle class and lower middle class pilgrims, to which EO answered TTD has not cancelled the RS.50tickets but a limited number of tickets are allowed every day.
