 Tirumala, 06 June 2022: TTD on Monday strongly refuted the baseless campaign against Srivani Trust made allegedly for political and personal gains by vested interests.

In a statement on Monday evening, the TTD said an attempt is being made to foil the noble objective to reach Sanatana Hindu Dharma to remote areas through temple building activity with the funds of Srivani Trust through baseless mud-slinging campaign.

He said it has become a regular practice to heap such allegations on the Hindu Dharmic institutions like TTD with political and personal publicity intentions and playing with the sentiments of the devotees.

The activities of Srivani trust has grown by leaps and bounds and successfully eclipsed the racket of brokers in Srivari Darshan at Tirumala. Those who could afford tickets are now getting VIP break Darshan tickets of Srivani without any recommendation letters or clutches of brokers.

The TTD said every rupee collected through the Srivani trust is spent for building new SV temples in remote areas and repairs to dilapidated and ancient temples.

Last year 501 temples were built in both Telugu states and have sanctioned plans to build 1030 more temples in the next two years of which some are at various stages of construction.

It is painful that in the backdrop of such ground realities some vested elements are spreading baseless allegations on the functioning of Srivani trust

TTD has warned that legal action will be initiated on such vested interests and those who upload such baseless articles on social media.
