TTD TO CANCEL COLLECTION OF CAUTION DEPOSIT FROM DONORS FROM JUNE 20

Tirumala, 17 June 2016: The Donors who are booking accommodation in advance by paying caution deposit, henceforth need not pay the same from June 20 on wards as TTD has decided to dispense with the system under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Samaba Siva Rao.

A review meeting with all the senior officers of TTD at Tirumala was held in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Friday. After reviewing on the various developmental issues with different HoDs, the EO speaking to media persons, he said, the IT wing of TTD with the support of Tata Consultancy Services has evolved a New Gen Web Site for TTD which was launched on Thursday. “Our chief motto is to provide more easier and transparent system of online services to wide range of devotees. So we have commenced e-Donation, e-Hundi, e-Kalyana Vedika, e-Seeghra Darshan in our new gen web site and very soon we will launch e-Accommodation also”, he added.

Speaking further the EO said, “We are also planting five lakhs sandal wood plants in about 90 hectares of land in Tirumala. And also planning to go for a trial run of Vertical Gardens at Vengamama Annaprasadam and Kalayana Vedika”.

Earlier the EO instructed the IT wing to equally divide the darshan given to locals during every month first Tuesday with five hundred tickets in each slot along with Rs.300 darshan tickets.

SENIOR OFFICERS GREETS EO

The senior officers of TTD working in Tirumala, have felicitated and congratulated TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao who has been promoted by the government of AP to Special Chief Secretary cadre recently. The EO also thanked every one and wished to work with more enthusiasm and spirit as a team.
