TTD TO RELEASE ON-LINE QUOTA OF 10800 NUMBERS OF RS.300 TICKETS FOR DWADASI

TIRUPATI, DECEMBER 15: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD), with an aim to enable more commoners to have Vaikuntha Dwara darshan on Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi days, has cancelled all privilege darshans on these twin occasions.

While the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the EDP wing to release about 10,800 numbers of Rs.300 tickets for Vaikuntha Dwadasi through on-line quota which will be available on Internet for booking from 11am onwards on December 16.

Reviewing on the arrangements along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju in his chambers in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Tuesday, the EO directed the IT wing of TTD to open the booking slots from 1pm to 9pm on Dwadasi accommodating 1200 in each slot taking the total to 10,800 for the day in Rs.300 on-line booking quota.”Allocate only through internet and not by any other means including e-Darshan, current or postal etc”, he added.

Later he instructed the Temple DyEO Sri C Ramana to ensure hassle free darshan to pilgrims on these two days. “There should not be any balance of compartments and the pilgrims should be given vaikuntha dwara darshanam without any delay”, he ordered. He also said there will not be any privilege darshans for both the occasions and no special darshan for Govinda Mala or any other Maladharana devotees.

The EO instructed the Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Venugopal to provide more of light menu on Vaikuntha Ekadasi since most of the pilgrims would not prefer food on that auspicious day. “Serve upma, vermicelli, pongal etc. on that day and the service should commence from early hours itself on December 21. Serve food in all the points at waiting compartments, queue lines etc. with perfect plan of action”, he added.

He also instructed the vigilance wing to deploy more number of personnel especially in luggage centers and see that pilgrim is not put to any sort of inconvenience.

“Utilise the service of srivari sevakulu and scouts to the best extent possible in pilgrim crowd management”, he added.

Later he instructed the health and medical wings to be alert round the clock with preparedness.
