TIRUCHANOOR GEARS UP FOR PANCHAMI

Tirupati, 15 December 2015: The temple town of Tiruchanoor which has been witnessing the grand gala of religious events from the past eight days, now geared up for the Panchami Teertham with which the mega religious festival of Navahnika Brahmotsavams concludes on Wednesday.

The temple priests fixed the muhurat of Panchami Chakra Snanam between 11:45am to 11:55am in the mammoth Padma Pushkarini. The day is considered to be so auspicious since Goddess Padmavathi Devi emerged from the divine lotus from the is pushkarini on this day and hence the name.

Elaborate arrangements have been made by TTD since tens of thousands of pilgrims from the state of TN, TS, Karnataka,Kerala apart from AP throng the temple tank to take the holy bath during the auspicious muhurat.

ANNAPRASADAM ARRANGEMENTS:

Matching the occasion, Annaprasadam wing of TTD has set up food courts at various points. The break fast menu will be served to nearly 60thousand pilgrims at ZP high School, Ayyappa Swamy temple and in queues from 7am onwards.

While from 12noon onwards food will be served to 60 thousand pilgrims in Tholappa Gardens, Ayyappa Swamy temple and in ZP high school premises.
