TTD TO RELEASSE ON-LINE QUOTA TICKETS EVERY MONTH FIRST FRIDAY-TTD EO

TIRUMALA, SEPT.4: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao affirmed that henceforth the temple administration will release on-line quota of arjitha Seva tickets on first Friday of every month by 11 am enabling pilgrims to book Seva tickets with ease and transparency.

The monthly “Dial you EO” programme was held at Annamaiah Bhavan here on Friday. EO attended to 34 calls by pilgrims from various parts of the country during the hour-long programme.

Answering to the calls of Sri Narayana from Vijayawada, Sri Karthikeyan from Tamilnadu,Sri Teja from Nellore, Smt Jyothiba from Orissa, who sought the EO on how to book any Seva ticket of Lord, the TTD administrative chief briefed them that the arjitha Seva tickets on-line quota for the prior fromOctober 3 to November 15 will be released today by 11am (September 4) on TTD official website. “The pilgrims need to register in our website with one time password. There Suprbhatam-5275, Thomala and Archana each 120, Viseshapuja -1248, Astadalapada Padmaradhana-100, Nijapada Darshanam-1493, Kalyanotsavam – 9900, Unjal Seva-1650, Arjitha Brahmotsavam-2970, Vasanthotsavam-5760, and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva-4123 will be released today. We will also try to release some of these tickets in e-darshan counters after negotiating the possibilities”, he observed.

Reacting to the query of another pilgrim caller Sri E Srinivasa Murthy from Ongole who sought EO to think of re introducing “Laddu Nivedanam” by pilgrims to Sri Bhu Varahaswamy which used to be there in olden days when Ch Anna Rao was EO of TTD. “The devotees strongly believed that by doing so the presiding deity will bless our children with blissful married life. Most of the poor people used to offer the Naivedyam. But now you are not accepting. Kindly rethink about it”, the pilgrim said. Answering the pilgrim, EO said, there is a lot of difference in the rush during those days and now. But however we will discuss it with our Agama pundits and see the possibility”, he added.

Replying the callers Smt Pragna from Anantapur and Sri Vishnu from Vedurukuppam, the EO said there are vacancies in TTD. “But there is no recruitment in near future as it involves a huge process of acquiring permission from Government. So please do not believe in false propaganda and websites. When we take up the process of recruitment it will publicised I advance through our official website, SVBC and other media well in advance”, he maintained.

Replying another pilgrim Smt Sudhamani from Banglore the EO said TTD is contemplating to open up a “Lost and Found” centre near Laddu complex, in the case if any family member got separated from their family after darshan or anywhere.

Another caller Sri Vijay Babu from Bhuvaneshwar sought the EO to extend Parakamani Seva to others also for which EO replied at present this Seva is limited to only Southern states and we will definitely look into the system extending it to other states also”, he maintained.

Earlier EO said, TTD has made all safety arrangements in galleries for the sake of multiude of visiting pilgrims for the ensuing Brahmotsavams fromSeptember 16-24 with Garuda Seva on September 20. He also said, TTD has shown very good progress in the sales of laddu, accommodation occupancy ratio etc. when compared to last August through the reforms it has brought in the recent times. “Our occupancy ration increased from 90% to 109% this August while laddu sales have shown an incredible increase by 6.89 lakhs than last August and the numbers of tonsures in Kalyanakatta have also gone up by 2.03 lakhs and pilgrims who had darshan this August is 22.17 lakhs as against last year’s 20.14 lakhs showing an increase by 2.02 lakhs”, he added.
