VISHWAKSENA SEVA FOR PILGRIM CROWD MANAGEMENT SOON
Tirumala, 4 September 2015: With an aim to provide enhanced pilgrim crowd management services in Tirumala, the temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is contemplating an innovative voluntary service “Viswaksena Seva”.
Briefing he media persons after Dial Your Programme, TTD CV and SO Sri G Nagendra Kumar said, since last many years the Srivari Sevakulu have been rendering impeccable services in various departments in Tirumala. Inspired by the srivari many retired and In-service police and defence personnel are also willing to render services to pilgrims. With an intention to offer better services to pilgrims we are mulling to commence this Seva named after commander in chief of Lord Venkateswara, Sri Vishwaksenulavaru”, he added.
Adding further he said, on the instructions of EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao we will soon open up. “Lost and Found” centre for the sake of pilgrims who lost their family members during their visit to Tirumala”, he maintained.
For the ensuing Brahmotsavams we will permanently set up 120 cameras in vital points in Tirumala.
MORE ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMMES ON SVBC: All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao said, this time the programmes in SVBC will be telecasted in an enhanced way. “We will be inviting eminent scholars to give back ground commentary in a more meaningful manner matching the importance of the occasion and Vahanam procession. “For instance we usually recite Supana Sooktham during Gauda Vahanm. So that relevance will be narrated to pilgrims”, he added.
